We have just returned to Virginia from over 2000 miles round trip in our new Jeep Patriot Lariot with our Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands to visit family. The barrier was exactly what we were looking for! We installed it on the back of the front seats of our jeep so we could fold the back seats down and give our dogs maximum space while driving. Not a single case they tried to break through and "walk through" us! During our trip we took my aunt on a day trip and we had to move the barrier to the back of the back seats to allow a passenger to sit in the back seat. While this required adjusting the barrier accordingly, it wasn't too difficult. The barrier was then reattached to the back of the front seats to get home, which again required further adjustments, but our dogs had no problems. I'm also glad we chose this black barrier over the other metallic silver color as it blends in with our Jeep's interior and reduces glare from the sun. Didn't think of it until another reviewer mentioned it. I highly recommend this barrier.
