Review on ABN Bushing Driver Set Installer by Harald Patterson
Not for pilot sockets.
I bought this whole set primarily to remove the pilot bushing from a 1958 Chevrolet 348 engine. None of the pullers fit. I had to sand the smallest one to fit and it barely did the job. The problem is that when tightening, the inserted tool pulls out about 1/8 inch from the end and the tool doesn't go past the sleeve to pull it out.
- EASY TO USE: Simply choose a sleeve with an inner diameter smaller than the diameter of the sleeve to be installed and attach it to the corresponding handle; Align the end of the handle and gently tap with a hammer to insert a bushing, sleeve bearing, needle bearing, or multiple ball bearings; Cheaper and faster than a hydraulic press
