I had problems with a car battery that was only 8 months old. A shop that only sells all types of batteries tested them with an old tester and said everything was fine. It wasn't good because after 24 hours he was almost dead. I charged it several times and each time it lost its charge after 24 hours. My local shop checked and said the panels are sulphated. I went back to the battery shop and they refused the warranty so I bought a new battery from a local garage and had no problems with it. We also have a golf cart that I put six new batteries in 36 months ago and we were constantly losing power. The batteries are very heavy and I didn't like the idea of removing all six and taking them to the shop for testing, so I bought this Konwei and quickly found that three of the batteries were in bad shape. I had one of the old testers that heated the inner wire but it failed so I bought a better tester that is all solid state and gives more information than the old tester. I'm very happy with it and I highly recommend it, although the price is higher than the old test devices that are still available.
