I'd like to start off by saying they might be suitable for entry level picks. And by that I really mean people who aren't sure if they care about clay. working or making pottery as a hobby, because anyone who is interested in pottery will certainly want to throw them away right away and otherwise see tools that quickly break, fall apart, rust, splinter or otherwise become unusable after a short period of time. Again, I'm not sure if I should give them one star or five because on the one hand they were the cheapest tools I could find and I had to use some of the tools as a backup quickly, but at the same time they started to fail within a few minutes Essentially falling apart weeks after relatively light use. I don't know, maybe I just got a bad batch, but it seemed to me that a disproportionate amount of metal tools were starting to come loose from the wood, and they were also very, very dull, I can't stress enough that they were not by nature They have no sharp edges at all. They can cut green, very wet clay, but do not quite cut even clay in the hard stage of the skin. The wooden rib also began to splinter rather quickly, which again isn't exactly surprising. I'm not trying to just throw shadows left and right here, I just want people to know that you get what you pay for here 100%.
