I didn't use them as childproofing for sharp corners, I used them on a tall mirror I leaned against the wall which damaged the drywall behind. They were a lot bigger than I expected but they work very well for what they are. I will give advice as the instructions are not very clear. When you receive the package, you will see an adhesive strip that looks like 3 columns and 5 rows of 4 leaf clovers. It is important that you know that in order to correctly apply adhesives to the product, you must align adhesives as I indicated above, 3 columns and 5 rows. Then you take a shamrock from the first column and attach it to one of the smaller sides. If you look closely you can see the correct orientation. Then take a piece of the second cloverleaf in the second column and put it, you can also indicate the correct orientation. Finally, the last column will be a big shamrock and you take one from there as the last piece. All parts fit right into place. Don't forget to remove the paper from the other side of the pieces after placing the shamrocks in their respective places. Then just slide the corner protector over the corner and voila.
