This is a cheap level and as many posters said you need to figure out which side is which side of the level. It's not that hard to figure out, just place them on a flat table and keep turning them until the bubble is in the center. This level is small, just what I was looking for. I found a flat side, then used double sided tape and attached it to my action cam so I could visually see if I was flat and if not, adjust the shoulder mount. The level itself is easy to read. This is the default fluorescent yellow with two black guides in the middle. It is also viewed from all sides. All in all, if you're looking for a small, cheap tier, it's worth it. If you're looking for a pro level or where centering is a must all the time, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you're like me and just want an approximate level which is mostly accurate and even if it's not quite the level it won't affect you very much then it will be satisfactory.
