This wireless microphone is amazing! We compared it to the microphones connected to the sound card and they sound almost the same. The Synco records good sound quality with a good amount of bass. Adjusting and correcting the sound to produce a good voice, like with a pistol mic, is no problem. The microphone leans a little more towards sounds like fans or air conditioning, but not so much that it's a problem. The build is obviously fantastic for the amount of money you are paying for. The case is plastic, but good hard plastic, not the cheap hard plastic you get when you buy a lightweight kit. The screen is great and in the sun it's pretty hard to see until you block the sunlight. The screen is also very reflective so keep that in mind, but that shouldn't put the product off. The odd thing was that the battery lasted about 5 hours. I've tried connecting the transmitter to my computer and then listening to music and watching movies through the receiver, which resulted in about 5 hours. I also got 5 hours just using it properly, so not sure if the 8 hours is as advertised. Synco took about 2 hours to fully charge while in use and about an hour to fully charge when not in use. Yes, it can be charged while recording and uses a USB-C cable. I checked the range and it has successfully traveled at least 150 feet with people between the transmitter and receiver. As with any wireless system, concrete or metal between the transmitter and receiver does not pose a major problem to get a secure audio stream like Synco, but does not discourage the product. Synco costs money and time to build into your camera. I really like this wireless microphone. Regarding improvements: - The screen should be viewable in daylight, but this may require a larger case for a more powerful battery or decrease battery life. - Application with user interface. This allows you to adjust the audio for better sound optimization and control for better voice pickup and eliminate unwanted noise. Additionally 3 saved settings for time saving and efficient voice recording.
