Hello, the length of the cable is as described and the thickness and design was great, just like in the photo. As far as value for money goes, I had a problem. I was shocked to find that the unit has an extra chrome screw that doesn't match the picture. I appreciate if it was for security or something, but it stuck out like a sore thumb. As you can clearly see, all other screws are black. I sent it back thinking there was a problem but received another one with a silver screw. It seems to contradict the goal of having a fashionable surge protector. The screw doesn't seem to be attached to anything because when I turned it, nothing happened.
