The option to disable the connector cable has been removed from the new lights.
I bought it last year, I was happy with how it worked. I bought a few more this year and they changed the way the connector cable works. Last year's pair had a disconnect connector that allowed me to remove any unnecessary 6ft of connector cables to connect them. The new flashlights don't have this option, it's ugly and unnecessary. Finally, the connector ports come in different sizes, so there's no point in buying more from this company. So I will be returning a new pair I bought.
