Review on VisionTek DisplayPort HDMI Active Adapter by Tammy Sims

I use an IOGear HDMI KVM switch to switch between two work laptops, a personal laptop and a desktop computer. One of the work laptops is an old HP with only a DisplayPort output. Before I bought this device, I was using a passive DisplayPort to HDMI adapter that caused my HP laptop screen to turn on and off every few minutes. I had to connect my HP laptop to the monitor's second input and switch from there, defeating the whole purpose of KVM. With this active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, I can finally use my KVM as intended. This is great as I have to switch between different systems several times a day. I'm very glad I found this well-made active adapter.
