So this box was just the space I needed to house the Sundown SD3-8. I didn't have the time or resources to build my own box, and didn't feel like going there So if you're planning to fit a Sundown subwoofer in this box, here's what you need to know: 1.- The cutout for the subwoofer is on the CORNER surfaces of the box. NOT on the shallow side as shown in the pictures For some deeper subwoofers that can cause serious problems The Sundown SD3-8 is fairly shallow with a built-in depth of 4.75 inches, but it is WIDE and therefore rubs against the bottom of the No manufacturing. As you can see from my photos I had to take the head of a wire brush for a drill and shave the bottom of the box to mount the subwoofer. Of course there are cleaner ways to do it, but I worked with what was. :p2.- Box cutout diameter 7.15". SD-3 8" requires 7.375" or 7-3/8". Again, some more experienced users will probably be able to do a lot better. But I used this box because after the offset I have about 0.4ft^3 of airspace, which is perfect. So I'm giving this subwoofer a 3 out of 5. If you know what you're getting and you know the photo does not match the product, you will be set on a bargain price case.
