Secure; lasts well after 1 year, slightly discolored
After about a year, the collar is almost like new, but has turned gray and black due to discoloration. I haven't tried washing it as I plan on replacing it with another design soon but the materials and clasp are still like new and we take it off our dog once or twice a week to groom. She is also walked on a leash every day and tethered outside several times a week and the collar is never tightened or lost.
