To record my Turbografx, Genesis, Super Nintendo etc. I tried another inexpensive USB recorder and it recorded about 5 seconds per frame (no typo). Most PCI-E capture cards these days don't have RCA inputs. I couldn't find anything under $150 to capture video from an RCA input (composite - yellow for video, red and white for audio) so I took a chance. I just tried it out in OBS Studio and it seems to render every frame of my Turbografx nice and smooth and looks damn good! I was looking for that! Records RCA video well. You need to be a little brave to install the drivers. Came with a full size disc. Run the executable from the CD, then follow the illustrations in the manual to decide which keys to press during installation (all in Chinese). At the first prompt after starting the installation, I chose to plug the device into a USB port. The installer continued, spit out the CD, then couldn't find the file, so I put the CD back in, hit "OK" (or the Chinese equivalent) and it found the file (presumably), continued and exited . The PC was then restarted. I said some prayers and had a session, the computer booted up fine, launched OBS Studio, selected the device and there was smooth video from my turbograph. PERFECT. Also, I completely ignored any attempts from Windows to install this. I just stuck with the CD that came with it and it worked fine.
