Review on Prince Lionheart Corner Guards Chocolate Safety by Kelly Martinez

Real edge and corner protection

We have wooden surfaces on our kitchen worktops. At the end of the peninsula, the underside of the corners are very "sharp". Our 2 year old granddaughter grew just big enough to bang her head on it. I had to put my hand on one of them when she got too close. So I'm always on guard when she approaches them. I saw these and decided to try them. My husband put them on today. He had no problems at all. We put them on backwards since our problem is on the wrong side of those corners. The top corners are bevelled. I slapped her with the back of my hand, only feeling the pillow. If she bangs her head on one of those corners now, it might slow her down, but she won't reach the doctor. A few months before my granddaughter turned 3, she finally tried one of the corner protectors. She "flew" across the kitchen and hit her head right on one of the corners of the peninsula. Her head "bounced" off the corner and she just kept walking. If it weren't for the guard on the corner, we would definitely go to the ER. I was so lucky I was smart enough to buy these guards. I've had to attach them a few times with the strong double-sided tape I have and it's worth it for peace of mind. If you could see my granddaughter banging her head on that corner and then happily walking on, you would buy this! I will say if you have kids who just stand up and rip them off you must try to stick them with something stronger like strong glue or something but our granddaughter won't think of disturbing them, they don't where she is playing , just walk or run past them.
