Review on Power B869 Autospeciality Brake Parking by Thomas Chalecki

Revainrating 5 out of 5

fitted perfectly in 2008 Nissan Frontier, eventually failed!

Why do I need new parking brake pads for life? Well, I kept hearing a rattle or thump in the rear, sure enough I thought the rear diff was about to crack. But I located the noise off axis and said the bearing is bad but no. It was a gasket that had come loose or loosened from the metal base. I removed the wheel and rotor and one of the pads on the passenger side was loose in the rotor. The best scenario for such a sound. I saved everything but the toppings and ordered them from Power Stop. They arrived here a few days later, along with new rotors and pads that I ordered to rebuild all the rear brakes. They fit perfectly and after adjusting the tensioners or adjustment lugs they work great. Note that after bleeding the brakes because I had new rear rotors installed I blew out the master cylinder which had to be replaced, then the rear calipers seized and had to be replaced, then the front ones were removed so I replaced them. Thank goodness that simple rear rotor pad and parking pad replacement turned into a $600 rear brake pad, brake pad, parking brake pad, front, rear caliper and master cylinder replacement. Brilliant. do you love nissan I wear high end stuff so these should be the last calipers I have to wear.
