Review on 🔵 EHEIM Substrat Pro 1L - Advanced Sintered Pearl-Shaped Glass Bioballs for Biological Filter Media by Melissa Warren

I have used this in two different canisters and also to fill a submersible filter on my used Fluval Accent rig. It seems to be working great. I never see ammonia or nitrite, and even overfeeding and overfeeding will only speed up the nitrate rise. Can't say for sure it knocks out ceramic rings or cylinders, but it does its job very well. I recommend using a mesh bag or two to hold the load and make flushing easier. The Substrate Pro is a bit small and light, making it easy to slip away from you during maintenance.
