Good biomedia in the filter accessories

Reinstalled my aquarium. I now have a Hydor canister filter but this medium seems to handle it well too. Tank is balanced.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Now I understand why people pay so much for it.

It's like putting a turbocharger on a tank. After installation, you essentially add a water crack to the water column. I can only warmly recommend this German development.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

This media is great, my water chemistry has always been stable.

These media are great, my water chemistry has always been stable since I've been using them, can't complain, they will probably last my fish tank for a lifetime, they don't fall apart, will buy again in the future if it is a must and definitely highly recommended

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Communication with seller

It seems to be working great. I never see ammonia or nitrite.

I have used this in two different canisters and also to fill a submersible filter on my used Fluval Accent rig. It seems to be working great. I never see ammonia or nitrite, and even overfeeding and overfeeding will only speed up the nitrate rise. Can't say for sure it knocks out ceramic rings or cylinders, but it does its job very well. I recommend using a mesh bag or two to hold the load and make flushing easier. The Substrate Pro is a bit small and light, making it easy to slip away from you

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Finally started replacing identical filter media from my old canister filter after 2 years of use. This works very well, although every time I've cleaned the filter I've noticed that the small beads have fallen apart a bit and there have always been small pieces at the bottom of my filter. This has never been an excessive amount so I'm fine with that as long as the fine filter pads can continue to keep particles out of the impeller. Additionally, my 55-gallon freshwater stays stable thanks to a

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine

Very good biofilter material

I have just installed a new tank and am using it for the first time in a hanging canister as a biofilter. I love it. It has a texture that should encourage bacterial growth - one of the best I've seen. Being completely round and porous, they should have maximum contact and growth with water. There are no fish in the tank and the ammonia digestion has really skyrocketed: the tank is consuming a total of 4 parts per million of dissolved ammonium chloride per day and I attribute that to Eheim…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I will write later
