Both mounting holes are threaded Several users have commented on the angled unthreaded mounting hole on Carlisle broom heads. In January 2020 I ordered 3 different brush head models: 3685314 (blue), 3686700 (natural/brown) and 3686805 (red). All broom heads had both straight and angled mounting holes, were threaded and fit standard US handles. Poles, for clearing rubble from high places. With new nozzles, the broom is stretched and does not come loose on the handle.
