I was a bit reluctant to order these pedals, but I figured that at the worst, I could return them if they didn't fit. The reason for my reluctance is that in the description, it said that they would fit a BMW Z4 but only up to 2014. My Z4 is 2016 model. So I went through all 193 questions hoping someone had asked if it would fit a 2016 (e89) Z4, but the only question close was someone had asked if they would fit a 2015.the seller said that the "B" option (there are both an "A" and a "B" design.the only obvious difference being the OEM gas pedals are a slightly different design between the two. I looked at my pedals and the gas pedal was the shape shown as needing the "B" choice. Which is what the seller said would fit the 2015 (despite nothing said other than "up to 2014".I figured "close enough", ordered them and two days later, they arrived today. Maybe it's too soon to write a review, but since it was very easy to remove the OEM brake pedal's rubber cover (the gas pedal stays as is - the metal cover just slides over it and it's a seemingly perfect and secure fit).and since the brake cover (the new metal one) seemed to be a also be perfect fit - easy to get on, and seems very secure; I have a lot of confidence that these metal pedal covers should last. And contrary to some reviews saying that the gas pedal cover seemed "flimsy", that certainly was not my impression. In fact, it seems quite sturdy.so maybe some improvements were made? .or more likely, it's just individual perception (although "thin and flimsy" seems very far removed from what I feel about the pedal!)Also, after at first reading the description, and thinking that these were NOT compatible with my 2016 Z4 35I, I "Googled" metal gas and brake pedals for the 2016 model I have and there were a bunch of options.but most were over $100 (as much as $177 .so about 1000% higher in price than these. There were some closer in price (a set at a "big box" store that I don't like to shop at) - and a few others.but among those, I knew without reading the descriptions that they were not only a bit more expensive but most likely not made for my car since the majority showed 3 pedals. My car has the M package which includes a metal "dead pedal".(the only transmission available as far as I know on the 3 liter engines for 2016 (the 35i and the 35is) is the DCT (dual-clutch transmission) which has no clutch pedal.so no 3 pedals. The standard "dead pedal" (not 100% sure if this applies to non-M package cars, but those (and I'd guess that even without the M package - that they come with metal on the "dead pedals" (although I doubt they have the M logo on those non-M package cars, I'm guessing (I certainly could be wrong?) come with metal "dead pedals".(I'm sure there must be some 35i owners without the M package that can chime in here and give a definitive answer?)Whatever the case, these were still the least expensive - including the identical (same manufacturer) pedals on the big "auction" site. And I've NEVER had an issue with any returns when I bought from Ebay, so it was a no brainer. So again.fine product, extremely fast shipping (as expected with Ebay Prime) .and at least in this instance, also the best price of any metal brake and gas pedals I saw from any seller (whether they fit or not?).I was really surprised the brake pedal cover fit so well.I wasn't sure even after removing the rubber pedal.mostly since I read many reviews saying that the brake pedal was either difficult to remove or this new replacement was difficult to install.but both seemed very easy to me. And I'm 100% sure that I got the metal cover on completely - (which was a concern until I felt it "snap" into place. I thought it was going to be a tough stretch of the rubber to get it over the metal pedal underneath, but it was a breeze! (although I'm not too sure getting the OEM rubber cover back on would be nearly as easy.hopefully, a non-issue for me.I think I'll be buried in this car if it holds up. BMW's may not have the reliability of a Honda - or maybe any Japanese car, but this car seems to have high owner ratings for reliability. (I hope they're right since repairs are just EXPENSIVE on any BMW.but I'm extremely confident that if/when anything goes wrong while I'm still alive, it won't be either of these pedal covers! lolPeace,R.
