This speaker is really loud and clear for its size which is about the size of a grapefruit. I'm very impressed with it, it's great in the pool/water and swims too. The external amplification is incredible and makes it even louder. My brother has a UE Megaboom 3 about twice the size of this one, but the Wonderboom 2 is almost 90% louder (he said he'd buy the Wonderboom 2 if he knew how loud it was). Great product, definitely recommend! Update: After a few weeks, my speaker floated next to me in the water (not submerged) for about an hour, suffered water damage and stopped working. I contacted Revain customer service and they were very nice and sent a new one straight away, no problems with a replacement so far!
