Review on πŸ’‘ Industrial Electrical Ethernet Network for Higher Bandwidth Internet Connectivity in Wiring and Connecting by Anthony Heinrichs

Not as high throughput as advertised, even with multiple different systems and drivers

I have a 10 port workstation/game station switch that is also very busy with the internet. Due to the fact that my PCs and gaming systems need to access data on my localized NAS, I need decent bandwidth to be able to reach decent speeds. However, this set of cables delivers speeds closer to 500 megabits, which means I'm only limited to about 60 megabits per second on each device. my switch has been running at 10 gigabit for a few years, so it must be the wiring. After all, they are cheap, unprotected and inclusive. in any case, all indications that advertising was made were improbable. IF YOU NEED A BUDGET SOLUTION TO ACHIEVE HIGH THROUGHPUT FOR MULTIPLE SYSTEMS, CHOOSE SHIELDED CAT 6 OR CAT 7. Also, I think this kit is still a good, low-cost alternative for anyone looking for cheap temporary Ethernet solutions which are available from time to time are breaks with other cables nearby.

Pros
  • Ethernet cable
Cons
  • No performance
