Oh my god! The thing really works! I put one in my smelly shoe closet and the closet smells/no smell in just a day! I live in an old house that has a certain smell that I notice especially when we come back from vacation. Will put more of this around the house and see if it helps. Even if not, I'm just happy with the cabinets. Presumably this item can be aired in the sun and reused which would be great value and reduce waste. I still can't figure out how to open the box.
