Review on 🐠 Tetra LED Cube 3 Gallon Aquarium with Pedestal Base: Enhanced SEO-friendly Version by Latoya Harper

Obviously this means he's comfortable enough to keep his young there

I was skeptical but Henry (my cock) loves this aquarium! He built the biggest bubble nest of all time. That apparently means he's comfortable enough to keep his offspring there. Of course, there are downsides, but surprisingly there are more pluses, and the biggest proof is its behavior. I've already kept him in two other tanks and am observing his behavior very closely (details below). But here's the overall breakdown: PROS - Plenty of swimming room - Sleek/neat design blends in easily and stylishly - Comes with: Filter, pre-cut lid to leave room for cords, and LED light on top - Oh...and the filter creates a soft "waterfall" sound when the house is quiet. CONS - Scratches effortlessly - Made of plastic (not sure if it's BPA free/safe) - Moisture build up on rim due to heater (sold separately) - Filter is too strong and potentially dangerous for small fish. Fish tend to avoid these areas - wasting space. (After Henry was drawn to it a few times, I built a stone hedge around it so he wouldn't get sucked in if he was dragged. After a few hours I noticed that he was regularly "exploring" the area, and he seemed a few Building fin muscle because he wasn't being pulled as easily anymore, although he's not taking too many risks that side of the tank.) OH HENRY. lived in a large cylindrical glass vase. It held at least 1.8 gallons (it had room to roam, but was mostly upright). One day the glass suddenly cracked (I don't know if it was from the heat or the sun). Anyway, I switched him back to the "Tupperware" from the pet store, which he didn't like. And when I found out the Tetra Cube I ordered would be delayed, I ran to a thrift store and bought a $3 plastic 1.5-gallon bowl. It was so big I thought maybe I don't need a Tetra Cube after all. but Henry didn't feel it – AT ALL. He just swam the whole time and never blew a single blister. When the cube arrived and I tried to remove it, he was so excited he wouldn't let me pick it up. And he's usually pretty cold-blooded. I had to give up his "furniture" first, and I think he knew he was going to try. As soon as he did, he started exploring/playing (but not nervously). After realizing the danger of the filter, he kept to the left and built his nest there. If you get too close to him, he will become aggressive. Anyway, most of the time when I go to the aquarium (like when I bought it from the store) it's full of "happy" energy. and relaxes in bliss the rest of the time. The only thing that really worries me is plastic poisoning and a heavy filter.

Pros
  • Aquarium comes with LED lights to illuminate your fish
Cons
  • Doubtful
