Review on Adjustable Single Channel Pipettor with Scientific Precision by Jerry Mangum

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inaccurate, non-sterile, not suitable for laboratories

I like the idea of a micropipette that measures millilitres. It only goes to ten, but it's much better. However, the unit of measurement is not accurate at all, 5ml equals 7.5ml. It is difficult to get accurate results if the pipette does not give accurate results. If you suck liquid into the pipette, it also ends up in the micropipette holder, which means that you are now contaminating all future experiments with it. Micropipettes that measure micro leave room in the base to keep liquids out of the chamber. I'm not sure why the same can't be applied to it. Now I'm wondering if my real micropipette is accurate. As the director of an after-school science program for school-age children, such a system for presetting samples quickly and accurately would save a great deal of time if it were accurate. Sterility is easier because we can take samples from 5 to 8 ml and do several repetitions to get the desired value, but it must be accurate. Another real shame. **UPDATED** The company sent me two new milliliter pipettes to test. One had to be adjusted upon receipt and the other was correct upon delivery. Both are now accurate and even better, both pipette 10mL without introducing any liquid into the chamber. I would still recommend pipetting slowly but now I can pipette milliliters accurately for baby experiments and if you do that 50-80 times it saves me a lot of time. The company contacted me very kindly, maybe too much, but I've always said I'd rather have too much help than too little or none at all. Your customer service is definitely top notch. I would recommend this product if you need a good ml volume dropper.
