The sound quality is excellent for this money. They were really cheaply made and both broke for me after a few weeks of use, both kept coming loose after about a day so I had to tighten them and after tightening them that much they both broke and no I didn't use either Pop filter on a tripod. I used it on an arrow so it wasn't just user error. At first I used a tripod and a windscreen and it was fine but my mic kept falling off so I kept adjusting until the mounting screw broke and the whole structure fell apart so I resorted to a pole that I got I like a lot more, but the pop filter wouldn't stay attached to the boom and kept falling off, so I kept adjusting it until the rubber part holding it broke in half and fell off.
