Installed in a 2003 Suburban. The drive appears to be of good quality, but it is not exactly the same as the original unit. The original drive was mounted with screws, the new drive just snaps into place. Cheaper production. We disassembled the failed drive and the large drive gear was plastic and cracked causing the gear to slip. Removing and installing this part is NOT easy due to the learning curve. It will be easier the second time. When installing, remove the plastic cam assembly from the actuator and place the cam assembly on the heater block first. Then carefully rotate the cam assembly to match the timing of the drive shaft bore and slide the drive onto the cam assembly. Install screws. We just started the truck and the drive worked without any problems. This fixed the issue where the airflow would get stuck during defrost.
