missing screw, already returned

ordered these shocks brand new but both were opened up and apparently returned by someone else as one of them was missing the screw. hopefully my mechanic can use the old bolt from the old damper. But the fact is that they weren't brand new, they were opened and returned. So who knows what the person did to them before returning them, or if they're even brand new.
