Review on SAMOFU Ergonomic Adjustable Headrest Executive by Kristi Green

It would be a great chair, though.

The mechanism for adjusting the height of the backrest, in my opinion, is not very clearly arranged. There are plastic handles that (should) stick out and then go into grooves (similar to adjustable sun loungers once you're comfortable with them). But the handles on our chair didn't protrude far enough to engage the slots, so the chair's backrest didn't stay at the desired height. Shame as I like the other features of the chair - great wheels, strong, very comfortable, fits both wide and narrow hips alike as the armrests are adjustable in many directions. I was even impressed with the tight fitting tape on most of the screw shanks, which keeps the screws from loosening over time. I don't like using an Allen key for most screws, but you can get one for everything these days. Unfortunately, a broken backrest height adjustment mechanism is a deal breaker. I see others have had some issues with it as well. If not, then you're in luck! If you take the risk and buy this chair, take my advice and make sure the recliner works before you assemble the chair so you don't have to take it apart if you decide to return it.
