The first thing I love about these needles is the little vials they come in and the size is marked on them. I no longer have to search for the right needle among the many needles I bought at the fabric store. As a seamstress, I've been an advocate of regular needle changes all my life. The needles bend, tiny spurs appear on them, and they break. It pays to have a wide range of sizes readily available. I've used three different sized needles and haven't had any problems so far, but I've only used them on woven fabrics. These needles have a universal tip which means they will work on any fabric. I still use store bought knitting needles. It is difficult to get rid of sewing habits. The only thing I really want is that they are color coded by size, like store bought needles. Sometimes it's hard to remember what size the last needle I put in was. Otherwise a good deal for the price.
