Very light MDF, the holes in the shelves are not drilled where they should have been, the screws are too short and you just screw them straight into the MDF, no other hardware is there . It will definitely soften and the screws will pop out. When I put the screws in and even replaced some of the screws with longer ones, the screws kept popping out. It should sell for maybe $15, it's that cheap. I really feel like I hit the table. Update - I paid $49 for this, not $70. However, I ended up having to use glue because the screws wouldn't hold in this inferior material. I'll keep it because it's difficult to return, but I'm wondering if it will hold up when I'm done assembling it. I still have a shelf in front of it.
