Exceptionally well made. Attempting to add a second hard drive to my son's HP 8460p, almost failed. Once the new hard drive was installed in the container, replacing the original DVD burner, choosing the right boot device was easy. I just pressed the wrong button and that was the problem. Very nicely built, just like the OEM HP DVD writer it replaces. A very pleasant surprise for such an inexpensive but worthwhile adapter. Ideally, this is a good way to install Linux on a computer running Windows 10. The two tiny mounting screws were unusually long and easily lost. Please note that they only fit in pairs on one side of the adapter. Perhaps including flat head models would make life easier. Please note that unlike the OEM product, it doesn't have a threaded tab to attach the adapter to the motherboard, unlike the OEM product. 02/28/18: Just received the second one. Replacing the hard drives in my son's laptop is incredibly easy.
