This is absolutely the best universal gimbal I have ever used. Works great with my Sony A6400 - all functions work when connected via multicable. The phone holder also keeps my LG V60 comfortably in the case. The motors are surprisingly powerful for such a light device. A decent phone app that lets you control things without physically touching the gimbal rounds out the package. Pros: Powerful - holds my mirrorless camera A6400, Canon 200D/SL2 (but without additional features) or mobile phone. There were no problems with the engines, everything is stable. I was concerned that the 200D was a lot heavier with the kit lens, but it worked well. Easy I mean. It's really very easy. Mixture of metal and plastic, but still feels very solid. I never got tired of carrying it around. Features - Many functions of my Sony can be controlled. It can be compared to other similar stabilizers but has some nice things like selfie mode and intro mode. I particularly like the selfie mode. It will be useful for blogging. Battery - About four hours of use and I have about 50% battery left. It was a mix of a BT connection to a phone, a wired connection to a camera, and normal real-world use. There shouldn't be any problems reaching around 8 hours on a single charge. Almost twice as long as with my heavier suspension. Speed follow mode works very well. The stabilizer response time is faster than I expected. It would be nice to use this feature when moving around my table. Balancing - Seriously, it only requires SMALL adjustments to balance. I marked the ideal spots for each camera with a different colored pen. The phone is the most difficult to balance simply because of the odd shape. Cons: (minor bits) Tripod - wish it was about an inch wider. Offers much more stability. It works well but I have a feeling it might tip over when using it with my phone. With a real camera, it's heavy enough not to move. Cable Length - I wish the cables were a few inches longer. The multi-wire cable for the A6400 is good for general use and doesn't hamper portability except in "Starter" mode. A few extra centimeters would be useful. Otherwise the cables are long enough. Final Thoughts: This is an exceptional stabilizer for the price. I've tried stabilizers that cost a hundred dollars more that offer the same functionality as a stabilizer but have no software or camera controls. This is my favorite stabilizer. The G6Max works with all the cameras I have, it's very easy to use and light enough to carry with me comfortably. I am very impressed.
