My Original Pump Little did I know it was for water in a mechanical shop. It was gifted to me, they used it to fill oil coolers on vehicles. It worked when it was given to me and when I used it. for diesel the longest time until one day i decided to use it for petrol and that's when the impeller decided to fall apart i left it and then it didn't start pulling it still pumps but it does is much harder on the engine, I think the rubber in this impeller is not as good for fuel or oil based products as the original 1. But they don't claim at all that this is for oil, it should only be for water .
