Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Rayovac Rechargeable NiMH Batteries AAA, 4-Count x 2 Pack for Lasting Power by Melvin House

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Rayovac has been around for years

I've been using Rayovac 1 hour batteries for a number of years and they have actually died after about 50-100 charges. This is normal and roughly in line with realistic expectations, but does not meet advertised specifications. Batteries don't hold much charge anymore and my Wii remote sometimes refuses to use them even when freshly charged (I've overhauled some of them since). The instantaneous failure of the batteries indicates that they can no longer hold the voltage, which is a serious problem regardless of the energy intensity. I switched to Sanyo Eneloop batteries after looking at the current range of batteries available. I'm sure there are other great brands out there but for now I'm happy with Eneloops. I hope they last longer than Rayovac. If I were in the market for more batteries I would consider Sony and Energizer when they sell for $1 a battery under Eneloops (that should be an insanely good sale). I would also recommend reading NLee the Engineer's battery reviews as this reviewer offers some great advice based on his extensive testing of the products. You'll see this Revain reviewer's reviews in the Spotlight Review section as you browse almost every rechargeable battery page on Revain.
