Well, I've had several bike lights over the years, all of which were battery powered, like AA batteries. I had never bought rechargeable batteries before and finally decided I was tired of buying batteries. Holy guacamole, that thing is bright! Easily 10 times brighter than any I've had before really makes it light. The rear light is also very nice and visible from far behind. The headlight has multiple modes of operation: low, medium, high and flashing. There's still plenty of low-level light when your eyes are set, and I've never had any battery drain. But this thing really shines (heh) when you crank it all the way up! Don't watch it directly, you will regret it. In addition, it can be fully aligned, the bracket has rotation adjustment, and the rubber clamp system can be moved up and down. I also like the easy to install handlebar and seatpost mounts. The handlebar mount features a quick release so you can easily remove it for charging or to use as a flashlight. Both lights are powered by standard USB power supplies with micro USB connectors on the lights. Definitely excellent value for money.
