Review on 🎡 Jensen SCR-68C: Premium Stereo Cassette Player with AM/FM Radio by Chad Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't be fooled by other reviews! This product is really good for the price.

I was in the market for a cassette player. I was working on a project to convert audio cassettes to MP3. I read some reviews here and was a bit hesitant. Now that I've been actively using this device for a while, I'd like to address some of the other review comments and leave you with my own. 1) People have complained that this device doesn't have a reverse button, but some didn't know until they got it. Well, read the whole description and look at the pictures, you will immediately understand that it has only 3 functions. Play, stop and fast forward. Solution! If you need to rewind, there are two very simple options: first flip the tape and fast-forward, then flip it again to play, then spend 5 cents on a digital pencil and start making yours to confuse whiners. 2) This product is cheaply made and the front door is easy to break. Solution! Stop pretending you are a little pink bat and need to crush to get the result. I've opened mine dozens of times and it still works like new. 3) No 5V power adapter is included in the package. The internet is not a pop up book, fool, read the description, all the information you need to make an intelligent decision is in the details. It literally says in the details section, it's not just a harsh statement. If the product does not have a very detailed description, please contact another seller who has more information. 4) Battery life is too short. Solution! Stop buying cheap batteries for dollars. If you can get a half dozen or more for $1, they're probably just as cheap as you are! Release your grip on your penny because Abe needs to breathe! Go to a big chain like Walmart and get a decent pack of batteries, Energizer and Durallast are always good choices. I played over 20 cassettes, each running for over an hour, before I had to replace a couple of Duralast batteries. Again, I've had this cassette player for about a month now. During that time I have used it on dozens of audio cassettes. The door is still intact, my batteries last a long time, the function of 3 buttons without reverse is not a problem unless you really have to complain. This unit is a good quality cassette player and I have recommended it to several people who have been looking for it.
