Smooth rings that I can easily attach my project to.

I make mandalas and dream catchers that are crocheted and crocheted with regular yarn. This tire is 99.9% smooth with a tiny speck at the compound that's easy to work on. The hoop is a good thickness, easy to wrap with yarn/thread and the finished project looks really cute.
