When trying to install a Kenmore Ikea stove/oven in a 70's home, it SHOULD fit, but somehow it's 1/16" to 1/32" larger and WILL NOT SEAL. Proper sealing fluid was used, no luck. A paid installer will come, the gap is too big for the thread tape. I had to replace the pipe in the wall with new devices from this century, which made this part obsolete. The brass on this piece was "too soft anyway," according to the installer.
