I really like this filter bottle, much more than the regular Brita filter water bottle. I love the touch open lid and didn't expect to like it as it's a step between me and my water. The water tastes good and is easy to catch through a straw. I flushed the filter well and didn't have any of the problems that others have had with loose carbon particles. The only thing I don't like is that the lid doesn't cover the mouthpiece well enough when closed to prevent a jet of water from the bottom of the straw when I remove the top to fill. Instead, the water pours out of the straw with a few seconds delay, which is frustrating when trying to fill a fountain in public places with water that sometimes spills over the surrounding ground if someone forgets to empty the straw. The Camelbak Groove filter bottle didn't do this due to the closed mouthpiece. I was hoping this Brita capped bottle would do the same.
