Review on ๐ŸŽ Prairie Horse Supply Premium Leather/Suede Braided Whip: 9 Tails, Long Handle, Turkhead Knots by Danny Thomas

Terrible even for a costume prop

I opened the box and immediately printed out the Revain return label. It's just a parody of a product that doesn't even go with costumes unless you're willing to go to the trouble of doing some TLC. (I needed something last minute and didn't have time.) "Skin" is incredibly cheap, thin, tough, and dry; and the tails have some tight curves that don't come out untreated. If you want to use this for a costume, order it a few free days in advance. Soak in water until skin is soft and supple (this may take a few hours), then squeeze out excess moisture with a towel you don't need and rub skin with your fingers with a thin layer of coconut oil (other oils may also work, just smear a little first). Allow to dry for about 24 hours (or longer). However, if you *don't* plan on just using it as a prop, just invest in something else. Such thin and brittle skin (even after the treatment described) can come loose and break or even cut if any force is applied. Simply not.

Cons
