Elegant loose leaf tea that's easy to prepare

Arrived in its original packaging, with no extra box of Revain, and surprisingly safe and wholesome. In the summer I love iced tea but I hate the process because I drink loose tea. Strain through cheesecloth - dirty, reusable tea balls will spill out. I needed an easy way to enjoy my favorite loose hibiscus and fresh ginger iced tea; the perfect spicy, floral and refreshing summer treat. I used to wrap loose tea and ginger in cheesecloth or buy empty tea bags, then simmer on the stovetop, brew, strain into a storage jar and chill. Kind of a labor intensive process with excessive waste. So I did a little research and found this pretty little jug and even got a good Prime Day discount. Simply fill it with water, place directly on the stove and once it starts to simmer, add loose leaf tea and freshly chopped ginger (ginger and fresh mint leaves are two of my favorite hibiscus teas), remove from the heat and let it steep until you have reached the desired strength of the tea. I then drained the tea to remove the leaves, put the tea back in the pot until it cooled and immediately put it in the fridge. My first batch was quite strong, which was great because I could use less tea and add water to make the 64 ounces last even longer. The size is great - it holds 64 ounces which is perfect for entertaining and the jug is beautiful and elegant enough to put on the table for dinner parties, picnics or casual dining and is easy to pour. The glass has a thin feel but is quite durable, comes with a sponge brush to remove residue and although it's hand wash only it's likely to hold up well to a gentle cycle in the dishwasher. I recommend this product if you find making traditional loose leaf iced tea time consuming. It would also be nice to fill the water with fresh fruit, mint, lavender, cucumber or whatever else would benefit from a pitcher with a lid.
