I enjoyed using this pitcher to make tea

I enjoyed using this pitcher to make tea. I ordered it in June and gave it 5 stars but it broke after a few months. 😶 When I put it from the fridge onto the counter, a whole piece of glass fell out, there was tea everywhere. A beautiful looking thing and I'm sad that it died so quickly.

Highly recommended for serveware

Deceptively high capacity. Something about the design makes it look tiny, but it doesn't last much. It is so light that it is very easy to handle. Glass is surprisingly strong. I regularly clean the jar and lid in the dishwasher, but it's also easy to clean by hand - the opening is just the right size. I really like the filter cover. I can use loose tea, coffee grounds, fruit or herbs and none of it ends up in my glass. It was a good purchase and I highly recommend it. If you found this review…

The jug has more capacity than it looks

I bought this jug for making lemonade, iced tea and iced coffee. Size 65 oz as advertised, but looks can be deceiving. The pot is smaller than stated. It works well for what I bought it for. But the cover disappointed me. The lid sits very loosely on it. If someone moves something next to it in the fridge, the lid just falls off. I believe the lid needed to snap securely in order for it to stay in place. Other than that, I'm happy with this purchase. It is well packed in the box with the…

This is a great jug for storing hot liquids.

This is a large jug that, despite its fragile appearance, can handle hot liquids. I poured in very hot water to make tea and everything was fine. I have broken a jar in the past so this jar is just what I needed. It doesn't look like it will hold 64 ounces, but it definitely does. In addition, it is not too high, so it fits perfectly on the shelves in the fridge. If you use it for ice tea, you can brew tea and keep it in the same pot. The original shipment had the wrong pitcher (different…

There must be a better option for the price

Attractive, holds 65 oz. He is skinny. I've been using it constantly since I got it about a month ago. From the third day, a small spot of rust appeared on the lid directly under the handle. I don't feel comfortable holding a pen. The network is very good. You need to remove the lid to pour concentrated orange juice without pulp. I'm not happy with that. I don't hate it but I'll look for a better one if this one breaks. I will never buy it again, I've had it for over a year. We use it every…

Great coffee maker at a great price!

Does anyone in America read more? All of these bad reviews are because the glass is thin and feels fragile. GHOST! This is stated in the description. That is the nature of this type of glass. Update: It's been over six months and my pitcher hasn't broken. And I use mine every day at work. The only problem is that the strainer on the lid seems to restrict water flow. Not sure why because it's not dirty. But the rest of the lid is not rusty. To be honest I don't know what those "rusty lids" are…

Bad product - good customer service

I am giving this review 2 stars because the seller refunded my money on time. Otherwise I do not recommend this product. This jug is very thin. It's so thin that when I washed it I was always afraid it would break in my hands. When I finally stirred with a plastic spoon, a large chunk flew out. My product was 18 months old (warranty 24 months). I have never put it on the stove or burner. I used it to make iced tea so I just poured hot water in. I also never subjected it to extreme temperature…

Great for frozen orange juice!

Is that enough for concentrated orange juice? Yes. Yes, that's right. I've reviewed almost every silica borate pitcher because I like good things and this one was 64 oz. Big enough for 1 pint of frozen juice plus 3 more water. Look at the photo. Just enough room to stir it. It looks small at first glance and I doubted the last can would fit, but here it is. The sieve on the lid rests directly on the juice. Perfect fit indeed. Couldn't be happier. You can find similar sized plastic ones in the…

Good product! by Dining & Entertainment

I bought this jug 2 years ago and LOVE it! It was bought to have a glass jug that was heat resistant enough to pour hot coffee into. It works great. I read that it is heated on the stove. Maybe yes, but I think it's too fragile to try. Also, I have an induction cooktop and I don't think I should use glassware on it. I've never used it in my microwave and forgot if there are instructions not to use it there. Today I was looking for a pot for brewing fruit and vegetables or just a brewing tube…

Elegant loose leaf tea that's easy to prepare

Arrived in its original packaging, with no extra box of Revain, and surprisingly safe and wholesome. In the summer I love iced tea but I hate the process because I drink loose tea. Strain through cheesecloth - dirty, reusable tea balls will spill out. I needed an easy way to enjoy my favorite loose hibiscus and fresh ginger iced tea; the perfect spicy, floral and refreshing summer treat. I used to wrap loose tea and ginger in cheesecloth or buy empty tea bags, then simmer on the stovetop, brew,
