Does anyone in America read more? All of these bad reviews are because the glass is thin and feels fragile. GHOST! This is stated in the description. That is the nature of this type of glass. Update: It's been over six months and my pitcher hasn't broken. And I use mine every day at work. The only problem is that the strainer on the lid seems to restrict water flow. Not sure why because it's not dirty. But the rest of the lid is not rusty. To be honest I don't know what those "rusty lids" are talking about. I received this jug quickly and I have to say that this thing is a lot stronger than I imagined. It seems most reviewers are right when they say it's not entirely fragile. I haven't tried pouring boiling water in it or putting it on the stove to boil water (they say you can), but I'm very happy with this pitcher. Now I wish they would make a larger size at 128 ounces.
