Review on 🚴 Sport Comp V-Brake Set by Origin8 by Greg Princeking

This kit contains all the components you need to repair or upgrade your brakes. Installation is easy and they work well. Only 1 complaint. The included cable sleeve curls into a ring about 3 inches in diameter. The ends are then woven in and out to hold the ring together. If you manage to unwrap the cable/housing, there are a few kinks in the housing. not sharp and the case could still be used. But if the cable/housing were wrapped into a larger diameter ring then there would be no kinks at all. The irony is that the overall packaging of all the components is a much larger package and a larger winding wraps the casing into a larger ring, didn't seem to change the cost or the packaging. I ended up using everything in the package/kit except for just in case. I went to my local bike shop to buy a straight slick body cable. My logic is that you want the brakes to work smoothly and freely. They do all the work of changing the brakes. Why deliberately install a curved body? The attached packing slip states that if you don't get a 5 out of 5 rating, you should contact Niagara Cycle to have the problem fixed. I have contacted them but received no response. So I lowered my rating by 1 star for the case being creased in the first place and a second star for the seller's lack of response.
