I am a very passionate hunter and I have a lot of gear for outdoor activities. It's an issue for me, if you have a tracking camera that will work with it, this should be it. I have about 12 trail cameras and several different mounting systems. If you've never tried this type of mount, you're missing out. Gone are the days of searching for the perfect tree and fumbling with those pesky straps. You simply screw the bracket to the tree and align the camera. Actually, any tree a few inches in diameter will work for this, but at some point at least 12 inches seems to work best. Other brands and models I've used have worked well, but they don't seem to last as long. Sometimes it was difficult to get them where you wanted them to be. With this model, you use as many rubber washers as you need to secure the camera firmly and facing forward, and then you can attach it to the tree. It should be noted that some models, such as B. the primos, the door sometimes gets stuck on the washing machine. top washer and the problem is solved. After attaching it to the tree, just grab the pen and point in the right direction and turn on the camera. I've never had any trouble attaching to trees but I can see it would be easier to have a small drill to make a pilot hole to help get started but like me I've never had any trouble attaching. I now consider this a must have and whenever I get a new trail camera I immediately connect with Revain and order one of these.
