Why do I need 2 adjustment keys? - updated

I wanted to hang some cameras a little higher and tilt down. I bought this holder, model HME "Better" and 3 packs of simpler hangers. I have the 1st 2nd and am not thrilled that I need 2 keys to adjust the incline. Much easier with wing nuts or similar bolts/nuts without tools. I'll try to change them so I don't need extra tools every time I adjust or customize them. They are durable and HME makes really good products. It just needed a little thought. I ended up doing a comparison

I ended up returning this Trail Cam mount. I also ordered the Slate River EZ Aim Slate River EZ Aim Game Camera Mount to compare side by side. I have never tried these screw mounts. I found it difficult to adjust the tension to my liking with this HME mount. I had to use two wrenches (one for the bolt head and one for the nut) to make adjustments. The Slate River camera mount uses thumbscrews to adjust the tension, which is much easier to fine-tune. Additionally, the HME mount uses up to 4…

An indispensable thing for tracking cameras.

I am a very passionate hunter and I have a lot of gear for outdoor activities. It's an issue for me, if you have a tracking camera that will work with it, this should be it. I have about 12 trail cameras and several different mounting systems. If you've never tried this type of mount, you're missing out.
