A Costly Mistake? Yes, I am ordering almost new rings online based on the incorrect sizes listed by this product. (The size I got for my ring made no sense. My wife's ring size was correct.) So glad I bought this ring gauge! I wear rings on different fingers and of course all my fingers are different sizes. When I buy a ring I have a clear idea of the finger I'm buying it for, so this size came in very handy! I just bought a ring and I hope it is true to size. If not, I just put it on another finger, but I hope the ring fits. If so, and I can wear it on the finger I want, I have this sizer to thank. They seem to be really accurate. I have used them to measure several rings we bought online and the rings fit perfectly and so does this ring. The only problem is that they aren't all half the size. For example, there are 6 1/4 and 9 1/4, but not 6 1/2 and 9 1/2. Most other sizes have whole and half, but not all. There seem to be many similar complaints. Without directions, the best way to approach this item is to start with the largest ring. The tab says 24.2 (top) 15- (bottom).
