I have been using this duvet for several months now and have washed it several times and it still looks and feels like new. The OS Queen duvet fits my new and old duvet. covers. It's neither too heavy nor too hot, with or without a suitcase. It is very well padded and sewn with stitches forming squares that hold the filling in place. Soft cotton material holds its shape through washing and drying. I have a large top loading washer and dryer. I can use my top loader to wash without damaging the lid. It is fluffed up again in the dryer. We had a very mild winter and I used this blanket without overheating. I'm warm and comfortable all night. I don't use a duvet in the summer as I prefer lighter bedding during the warmer months. This is a high quality duvet cover. No irregular shapes, seams or fabrics. This is one of the best duvet covers I have ever used.
