I was a little nervous I squeezed the trigger when I wanted to connect my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I wasn't exactly sure about the diameter of the mic stand but figured if it didn't work I could send it back. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flexibility of this mount. There are tons of different ways to configure them and work with any device, big or small. It's pretty well designed in that sense, like it could attach to any diameter mic stand as it's adjustable with a wide clamp - although it's rated for a specific diameter (not sure?). choose. They could handle a very large device and were too big for my iPad Pro. I decided to use the longest + the second shortest that works best for my particular device. Even if you have a sturdy case, there's plenty of room in some configurations. There are several places you can adjust the mount to get the exact angle you want - all you have to do is fiddle with it to find the right fit. To you. The only issue I found was making sure the logo on the mount is vertical. So if you want to share your device, all you have to do is press down a little. At first it was upside down, making it difficult to remove the device until I figured it out. So if you're looking for a quality clip to attach your mobile device to a mic stand, I definitely recommend this one out of all the other types I've seen. I highly recommend some sort of case for your device in case your mic stand ever falls (it happens). You can also check how durable your mic stand is - I used a tripod with a tripod which seemed to hold the mic and iPad well but adds weight to the side so check before you go live!
