I have a 3 year old Rottweiler mix with arthritis in both hips. She was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and it helped, but she still wakes up stiff and limping after walking. I was also concerned about the long-term side effects of the drug since she is so young. I found this and decided to give it a try. I double dose her with Hill's Science Diet Canine Adult Healthy Mobility dry dog food and her regular medication for a week and she's already doing better. She gets up easier in the morning and has less limp. Also, she seems to like the taste.
